What is Latisse®?

Latisse® is an FDA-approved prescription medication used to grow longer, fuller, and darker eyelashes after 16 weeks of use. AT 16 weeks in clinical studies, results showed that layers were 106& filler, 25% longer, and 18% darker.

Latisse® is believed to increase the growth cycle phase of the eyelash hair cycle, thereby increasing the number of hairs in this growth phase for desired results.

Latisse® Candidates

Adults 18 years and older who wish to achieve fuller, thicker, and darker lashes may benefit from Latisse®. However, those who should not use Latisse® include patients who are pregnant, nursing, are allergic to any of its ingredients or have certain eye conditions. The best way to determine if you are a candidate for Latisse® is to schedule a consultation appointment at Dermacare Plastic Surgery.

Increased Eyelash Length

Latisse® stimulates the growth phase in the eyelash hair growth cycle, resulting in longer lashes. Patients typically notice a significant increase in eyelash length after consistent use over several weeks.

Darkened Eyelashes

Latisse® has the effect of darkening the lashes, making them more noticeable without the need for mascara or other makeup products.

Enhanced Eyelash Thickness and Fullness

Latisse® promotes the growth of more eyelash hairs, resulting in thicker, fuller eyelashes. This is particularly beneficial for those with sparse eyelashes.
