What is Juvéderm®?
Juvéderm® is a brand of hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal fillers. The Juvéderm® family of fillers is designed to address various signs of acing; each product is formulated with specific aesthetic concerns in mind.
- Juvéderm® Ultra XC: An injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness to thin lips. Results can last up to one year.
- Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC: Corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds. Results can last up to one year.
- Juvéderm® Volbella® XC: Used for lip augmentation, the correction of perioral lines, and adding volume under the eyes to address undereye hollowing.Results can last up to one year.
- Juvéderm® Voluma® XC: Restores lost volume to lift and contour the cheek area, as well as augment the chin region to improve the chin profile. Results can last up to two years.
- Juvéderm® Vollure® XC: Addresses moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Results can last up to 18 months.
- Juvéderm® Volux® XC: Improves jawline definition in patients with moderate to severe loss of jawline definition.Results can last up to one year.
Juvéderm® Candidates
Healthy adults 21 years and older who wish to address lost facial volume, smooth folds, and wrinkles, or plump their lips can often benefit from Juvéderm® treatment. However, this treatment may not be right for individuals who are pregnant or nursing, have a history of severe allergic reactions, have certain autoimmune disorders, or are on blood thinning medications.
