Julie Porter
Julie has been working with Dr. Rod for over 10 years. She acts as Dr. Rod’s second set of hands in surgical procedures and patient care performed in the office. She started her schooling in 2005 when she moved to Arizona with her husband and son. She had her second son in 2007 while in her nursing program. Her nursing career started in 2009 working in a vascular surgeon’s office but felt that she was needed elsewhere. She has worked in several surgical offices and feels more relatable to the patients in the plastic surgery field. Julie especially enjoys the Plastic Surgery where her past experiences with boy scout leadership and crafting skills help people with their pre-operative and post-operative care. She enjoys seeing the gratitude and satisfaction in patients as they undergo elective procedures, and finds it extremely rewarding to witness their newfound confidence.

Bianca Lopez
Bianca Lopez is a dedicated Physician Assistant with 15 years of experience in aesthetic medicine. She has trained with esteemed leaders in the industry and holds a Master Injector Certificate. Bianca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Patient Care and Health Sciences, followed by a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University.
Her foundation in emergency medicine ignited her passion for the medical field. Bianca skillfully combines her artistic abilities with a deep understanding of facial anatomy, allowing her to inspire confidence through natural, beautiful results with cosmetic injections.
Outside of her professional life, Bianca enjoys cooking and cherishing time with her husband and son. She is also fluent in Spanish, enhancing her ability to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Adriana Sanchez
With a background in the aesthetics industry of 5 years, Adriana joined our team in 2023 as our Front Desk Care Coordinator & Spanish Surgical Consultant. Overseeing phone calls, answering any questions and scheduling any future appointments for our surgical, injectable and esthetics patients. Fluent in Spanish, Adriana can assist any Spanish speaking patients in their consultations with Dr. Rod or any of our providers. With a passion for all things aesthetics, Adriana loves connecting with our patients answering any questions about our procedures, services and products.

Karissa Komorowski
Karissa joined the Dermacare team as a Surgical Coordinator / Sales Consultant in 2022. Her role includes assisting Dr. Rod with surgical consultations and helping patients to navigate the scheduling and financial aspect of their surgical journey. After spending two years working at Banner Hospital Karissa found that her love for the medical field resided in the aesthetic industry. With a background in the medical field, she takes pride in having extensive knowledge about each surgery that Dr. Rod has to offer. With plastic surgery being such a personal experience, Karissa enjoys building a rapport with each client as they navigate their newfound confidence.
