How Is a Brazilian Butt Lift Performed?

Every year, Dr. Rod of Dermacare Plastic Surgery in Phoenix sees more and more men and women who are looking for that perfectly round bottom. Once the word got out that there finally is a way to get a perfect hourglass figure without hitting the gym seven days a week, the Brazilian Butt Lift surgery quickly began to shoot up the ranks of “most popular plastic surgery procedures.”

Dr. Rod is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery which has long been recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialities. He has performed hundreds of plastic surgery procedures in the more than 10 years he has been in practice.

He is highly sought after when it comes to any type of plastic surgery procedure, but especially the Brazilian butt lift. Dr. Rod provides amazing results every time in a safe and comfortable environment.

The Brazilian Butt Lift Procedure

The philosophy of Dermacare Plastic Surgery focuses on providing Phoenix patients with superior care and exceptional outcomes. The best way to achieve beautiful, natural-looking results is to combine technical skill with meticulous attention to artistic detail. By taking this approach, Dr. Rod is able to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals.

The Brazilian butt lift procedure consists of two plastic surgery operations – liposuction and fat transfer. First, you and Dr. Rod will agree on problem areas on your body to perform liposuction. This provides contouring to another area of your body and supplies the fat needed to increase the size of the bottom.

After Dr. Rod has performed liposuction, he and his team will separate the fat to prepare it for reinjection into the buttocks. Finally, Dr. Rod will carefully inject the filtered fat around your gluteal muscles in order to create the desired appearance.

Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery

Phoenix patients who receive a Brazilian butt lift with Dr. Rod should avoid pressure to the buttocks for 14 days. This will allow the transferred fat to keep its positioning and attach it to the other fat cells in the bottom. It’s important to follow this strict restriction to ensure you receive your desired results. Patients who apply direct pressure too early could kill fat cells and not have the round, voluptuous bottom they want.

In order to avoid pressure to the buttocks, Dr. Rod recommends Phoenix men and women sleep on their side, with pillows behind and in front of them to help keep them in that position. When sitting, patients should do so in a reclined position with a pillow under their knees to keep pressure off of their bottom.

Patients will experience mild discomfort when they wake up after their Brazilian butt lift, and they will experience mild swelling. Dr. Rod will provide prescription pain medication for patients who need help controlling their discomfort. Swelling and discomfort will reduce as the days go by, and patients will be able to see their initial results within six weeks, with full results seen in six months.
